Alness Golf Club

Alness Golf Club took possession of 2 new Golf Buggies this spring with the assistance of local funding agencies: -

CED, RACE and Sports Council.

The Buggies are available for hire to both Members and Visitors with the elderly and handicapped taking priority.

Hire Rates: -

Members £ 10 per Buggy

Non Members £ 15 per Buggy

Former Captain Ron Aitken officially opened the new Practice Range in April 2006 which has 3 driving bays, 2 fixed targets at 100 & 150 yards, a practice green with bunkers.

The Range is open to members and visitors throughout the year.

Funding for this project was provided by CED, RACE and Sports Council

Free Junior Tuition lessons are available from the beginning of May every Thursday evening at 4pm.

The classes are taken by resident PGA Professional Gary Lister, former Captain Ron Aitken & Gary Morris.

Lessons are available to both Members beginners alike FOC.
