The course is 5,013 yards long and is suited to both seasoned golfers and beginners. 

Golfers of all abilities will find the course interesting and challenging.

The first tee is set looking north towards the evergreen forest and surrounding hillside.  The hole is called Beinn Tharsuinn and is 365 yards long par 4 with 2 fairway and 2 green bunkers.

The 4th tee again looks north and is called The Pond.  There are 2 fairway and 2 green bunkers and is 304 yards long par 4.

The 6th hole, Firth View, looks over the Cromarty Firth and is 265 yards long par 4.

Looking back down the fairway from the green, the summer colours of the grass, trees and ripening crops blend in to form a picturesque setting.

Achandunie is a 322 yards long par 4 hole.

Set in beautiful surroundings this hole has a highly elevated tee dropping down to the fairway below and then back up to an elevated green.

A challenge for any golfer.

If you are a really big hitter try the extra challenge of driving the green off the tee!

The Douglas has to be the most picturesque hole on the course with its stunning view from the tee looking down onto the fairway below located in the gorge of the River Averon.

At 406 yards par 4, this hole is a  particular test of skill for any golfer.

There are 2 fairway and 2 green bunkers.

The short Long Pool is set next to the River Averon and is a very tranquil setting with buzzards circling endlessly high above on the summer thermals.

At only 101 yards par 3, the hole is not long by any means, but there are 3 tricky green bunkers which have a habit of catching more than a few balls!

The Buzzard's Nest is the last hole located on the lower section of the course before climbing back up to the final hole located at the club house.

The hole is 279 yards par 4 with 2 fairway and1 green bunkers.

For those of you who are interested in birdlife, the following birds can be seen around the course: -

Mallard, Buzzard, Goshawk, Oystercatcher, Herring Gull, Common Gull, Woodpidgeon, Swift, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Swallow, Pied Wagtail, Wren, Robin, Blackbird, Song Thrush, Whitethroat, Willow Warbler, Coal Tit, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Jackdaw, Carrion Crow, Hooded Crow, Starling, Chaffinch, Greenfinch, Goldfinch, Siskin, Linnet, Bullfinch & Yellowhammer.

Other Species Include: -

Pink-Footed Goose, Graylag Goose, Gray Heron, Red Kite, Sparrowhawk, Osprey, Kestrel, Red-Legged Partridge, Pheasant, Great Black-Backed Gull, Skylark, Meadow Pipit, Fieldfare, Redwing, Mistle Thrush, Long-Tailed Tit & Wheatear.

On the River Species Include: -

Common Sandpiper, Cuckoo, Grey Wagtail, Dipper & Tree Creeper.
